Static IP Setup

Note that configuring a static IP address is optional and depends on the location's network setup.

1.             As the Media Hub boots up, repeatedly press the Esc key until a menu with the static IP utility option appears.

You may be too quick with the Esc key and enter the BIOS screen - you'll need to exit BIOS and press Esc again to reach the static IP utility options.

2.           Select [build version], with Set_Static_IP_Address and press Enter.

3.           In the inPulse Engine DHCP Network Configuration window, highlight the disable option using the arrow keys and press Spacebar. You'll see an asterisk * appear beside disable.

4.           Select OK using the arrow keys and press Enter - this will display the Static IP Address Settings menu.

Use the and arrow keys to scroll up and down the list. Use the Tab key to scroll through the fields.

5.           Delete any existing text from the IP address, Netmask, Gateway, and DNS fields.

6.           Enter the information provide to you by the Cineplex Project Manager in each field.

7.            Once all information has been entered, press Tab until Save Settings is selected and press Enter. The Static NIC window will be displayed.

8.           Confirm that the values for the static IP address, Netmask, and Gateway are correct.

If the values are incorrect, press Esc to return to the Static IP Address Settings window and repeat Steps 5 - 7.

9.           Press Enter to reboot the Media Hub.
